Lyrical/Contempoary
Lyrical dance is a modern dance form, which fuses modern dance, jazz, and ballet. Lyrical dance is often referred to as contemporary dance. It requires excellent technique to perform, as the moves are often difficult and precise. Moreover, the dancer should be aware of his or her facial expressions while dancing. As seen on the popular TV show "So You Think You Can Dance", this style takes ballet technique to a new level. These classes are added to the curriculum for the advanced students.
Junior Monday 3:30pm 10-13yrs (Vanessa)
Must be enrolled in a ballet class
Senior Wednesday 7:30pm 13+ yrs (Vanessa)
Must be enrolled in Level 8 ballet class
